Patna, March 7 -- Hours after JDU's party meeting on Friday night following dissatisfaction in a section of the party's rank and file over Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's decision to move to Rajya Sabha, Kumar on Saturday called on Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, sparking fresh discussions about his possible resignation.
Kumar met the Governor at Lok Bhawan this forenoon where both were closeted for over 10 minutes. While the meeting has officially been described as a courtesy call, it has triggered considerable political chatter in the state, where speculation about major political developments has been gaining momentum in recent days.
