Madhubani, Jan. 28 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday announced a major development package worth Rs 391 crore for Madhubani district where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 395 schemes.
As part of his Samriddhi Yatra, Kumar remotely unveiled the plaques for the projects, which include the inauguration of 294 schemes costing Rs 93 crore and the foundation stone laying of 101 schemes worth Rs 298 crore.
Kumar reviewed various development projects and inspected the Mithila Haat Phase-II (River Front Development) at Araria Sangram under Jhanjharpur block. He directed officials to ensure the effective implementation and timely completion of all development and welfare schemes.
