Patna, Jan. 23 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday announced an ex-gratia for state residents who lost their lives in a blast at the Real Ispat and Steel plant in Bakulahi village, Chhattisgarh.
Describing the incident as extremely tragic, the Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over the death of Bihar's workers in the accident.
He announced that the families of the deceased workers from Bihar would be provided an ex-gratia amount of Rs 2 lakh each from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Additionally, Rs 50,000 each will be given to Bihar workers who were injured in the blast.
He also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
