Nagpur, Nov. 1 -- union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari today announced an ambitious target of generating five lakh employment opportunities in Maharashtra's Vidarbha region over the next five years.

Speaking at the launch of the Nagpur Skill Centre, an initiative of the Association for Industrial Development (AID) in partnership with the Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Tata STRIVE-a Tata Trusts skill development programme-and the Vidarbha Global Foundation, he said the mission aims to empower local youth through focused skill training.

"We have set a goal of creating five lakh jobs in Vidarbha within five years. From every assembly constituency in the region, 5,000 young people will receive skill training at the Nagpur Skill Centre," said...
