Ranchi, Nov. 7 -- The father of tribal activist Nisha Bhagat has questioned the circumstances of her death and demanded a CBI investigation, while the BJP and ruling JMM-Congress alliance exchanged allegations over the case on Saturday.
The demand was raised during a protest at Tower Chowk in Gumla, where participants sought an impartial investigation and justice for Bhagat. A funeral procession was also taken out. Her father, an activist, expressed doubts over the circumstances of her death and questioned the police response to complaints allegedly made by his daughter before the incident.
