Yavatmal, April 27 -- Authorities of Dayabhai Maoji Majithiya Ayurved Mahavidyalaya have taken disciplinary action against several senior students following allegations of ragging involving first-year BAMS students.
The action was initiated after a complaint was lodged through the UGC Anti-Ragging Helpline, officials said.
According to officials, one student has been suspended for a year, while eight others have been suspended for six months.
Additionally, eight students have been fined and three have been issued strict warnings.
The complaint alleged that around 21 senior students were involved in ragging activities.
