Chandigarh, June 11 -- In a humanitarian initiative, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Amritsar, facilitated the repatriation of nine Bangladeshi nationals, including two women, who had been staying at the transit camp of Central Jail, Amritsar, after completion of all legal formalities.

Officials said the process of sending the individuals back to Bangladesh commenced on June 11 in accordance with prescribed procedures and regulations. The group was provided with the necessary security arrangements and logistical support for the journey.
