New Delhi, May 31 -- The night patrolling team of Sultanpuri Police Station apprehended a suspected drug peddler during a routine patrol operation in the Sultanpuri area of outer Delhi.
According to police, the accused attempted to flee upon noticeing the police personnel but was chased down and overpowered by the alert team.
The accused has been identified as Amit Kumar alias Baba, a resident of Mangolpuri, Delhi. During his search, police recovered 3.20 grams of smack from his possession. The contraband was seized and the accused was taken into custody.
