Siliguri, June 27 -- National Highway 10 near Sevoke continues to remain unsafe due to frequent landslides, with small and large boulders rolling down the hillside onto the roadway. Over the past few days, commuters, including tourists travelling to and from Sikkim and Kalimpong, have faced severe hardship amid massive traffic snarls and repeated disruptions.

The office of the Superintendent of Police, Darjeeling, has issued a traffic advisory following a major landslide near Shiv Mandir, Sevoke, warning that the stretch remains vulnerable because of continuous falling debris and unstable slopes.
