Agartala, June 30 -- Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has taken a significant step towards promoting sustainable and green energy initiatives by successfully installing and commissioning a 345-kilowatt-peak (kWp) on-grid rooftop solar power plant at Agartala Coaching Depot.
The officials said here on Tuesday that the project aimed to harness renewable energy and maximise the use of available rooftop space, aligning with Indian Railways' dedication to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
