New Delhi, April 28 -- : The sixth round of the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-6) is likely to be released soon, according to sources from the Health Ministry.
The survey, which covers 6,79,238 households across States and union Territories of India, was conducted during 2023-24 and is among the largest and most comprehensive studies undertaken in the country, said the official sources.
Led by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the study, which gathers the latest data on health, nutrition and population indicators of our country, aids in policy formulation, monitors the progress of ongoing health programmes, and tracks India's performance regarding fertility, family planning, maternal/child health, and mortality.
