New Jersey, June 5 -- Neymar will miss Brazil's World Cup warmup match against Egypt to continue treatment for a leg muscle injury, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said.
The 34-year-old was last Thursday diagnosed with a grade two calf strain requiring an estimated recovery period of two to three weeks.
"Neymar will not travel with the delegation to Cleveland," the CBF said in a statement ahead of Saturday's friendly at Huntington Bank Field.
