Patna, Aug. 31 -- The Patna district administration today termed as misleading the news that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was not given permission to stay overnight at Gandhi Maidan on August 31.
In an official statement issued here by the Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order), it was clarified that neither the Congress, nor any other party or individual, had sought permission for an overnight stay or for any other purpose at Gandhi Maidan. The claim that Gandhi was stopped from staying at Gandhi Maidan is completely baseless and false.
