Seoul, Nov. 12 -- Two members of the popular K-pop NewJeans, Hyein and Haerin, are returning to their record label Ador, the agency announced, following months of legal disputes that left fans questioning the group's future.

The five-member group has been embroiled in a heated dispute with Ador since last year, accusing the company of mistreatment, manipulation and lack of transparency. Ador, a subsidiary of Hybe corporation, the entertainment giant behind BTS, has firmly denied the allegations.

In a statement on X, Ador wrote that Hyein and Haerin had decided to "respect the court's latest ruling" after "thoughtful consideration with their respective families and thorough discussions with ADOR".
