Nagpur, Oct. 25 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that "New Nagpur" will be developed as a modern business district on the lines of Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

The move aims to position Nagpur as a major hub for investment, logistics and industry in central India.

Speaking at an event in Nagpur, Fadnavis said large-scale investments are already flowing into the city and developing a dedicated business district will accelerate both regional and economic growth.

The Chief Minister assured that land acquisition will not pose a hurdle, as nearly 90 percent of landowners have agreed to provide land for the project. He said that fair compensation has been promised to all stakeholders.
