Kolkata, March 17 -- Soon after taking oath as the Governor of West Bengal on Thursday, R. N. Ravi has initiated steps to streamline administrative functioning by moving to fill several key vacant posts at Raj Bhavan.
According to administrative sources, an email has been sent on Tuesday to the state secretariat asking the state government to fill up the key important positions of the Raj Bhawan.
Sources in Raj Bhavan said that the Governor has prioritised the filling up of long-pending vacancies that have remained unoccupied for an extended period.
The move is aimed at improving administrative efficiency and ensuring smoother functioning of the Governor's office.
