London, Dec. 2 -- Dominic McLaughlin, the young actor set to embody the iconic wizard in HBO's forthcoming "Harry Potter" series, has reflected on the extraordinary moment he discovered a handwritten letter from Daniel Radcliffe waiting for him.
The actor recalled that the message reached him in the middle of an ordinary journey back to Glasgow. His father quietly handed him the envelope and as he read through it, he realised it had been written by Radcliffe himself.
"It was insane," he beamed, during an interview with the BBC show Saturday Mash-Up! Live.
"My Dad tapped me on the train and just gave me this letter. I read it and then I got to the bottom, and it said, 'Dan R.' I was going mad, but I had to (keep cool). I was on the train....
