Berlin, May 16 -- Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich have extended their contracts with Bayern Munich until June 2027, leaving the German record champions set to continue with their established goalkeeping set-up alongside Jonas Urbig for another season, the club announced.

The decision ends speculation over whether Neuer would retire when his current deal expires, with Bayern also retaining 37-year-old back-up Ulreich as they shape a three-man unit to help Urbig develop.

Forty-year-old Neuer said he had taken his time before committing to one more campaign.

"The conditions are right here. We can beat anyone with this team, I enjoy going to Sabener Strasse every day and I deliver my performances," Neuer said.
