Bengaluru, June 25 -- The indigenous Netra Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system has received Final Operational Clearance (FOC), significantly enhancing the Indian Air Force's airborne surveillance, situational awareness and battle management capabilities.
The milestone was celebrated by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) at a ceremony here on Thursday, attended by senior serving and retired Indian Air Force officers, DRDO scientists and industry partners associated with the programme.
