Guwahati, Aug. 19 -- The Nepal boxing team is undergoing a month-long training camp at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) in Guwahati as part of its preparations for the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, next month.

The seven-member boxing contingent, comprising three women and four men, along with two coaches, arrived at the SAI NCOE Guwahati for the camp that began on August 10 and will continue until September 15, 2026.

The Asian Games will be held in Japan from September 19 to October 4, with competitions taking place in Aichi Prefecture and the city of Nagoya.

The Nepal delegation includes coaches Raj Shrestha and Deepak Maharjan, while the seven boxers are Ramisha Shrestha (51kg), Asmita Duwal ...
