Nagpur, Jan. 3 -- union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday said the National Education Policy (NEP) would serve as a key instrument in fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of liberating India's younger generation from the colonial-era Macaulay mindset.
The NEP, unveiled in 2020, outlines wide-ranging reforms across school, higher and technical education.
Addressing media persons during his visit to Nagpur for an official programme, Pradhan noted that the policy, now in its sixth year of implementation, is set to bring about a fundamental transformation in the country's education system.
