Itanagar, Aug. 27 -- The North Eastern Handicrafts & Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd (NEHHDC), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), today inaugurated its Authorized Yarn Depot at Khinam Fashion House, here.
The Yarn Depot was inaugurated by NEHHDC Managing Director Mara Kocho, in the presence of Arunachal Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries Board Chairman Maling Gombu, State's Textiles & Handicrafts Director Dorjee Phuntso, local stakeholders, artisans, and members of the weaving community.
The newly launched depot will provide artisans and weavers of Arunachal Pradesh direct access to Purbashree Yarn, including Ahimsa Silk and Premium Eri Yarn, certified under OEKO-TEX S...
