Nagpur, June 21 -- The Nagpur-based NEET-UG aspirant who was initially allotted an examination centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE, appeared for the re-examination in Nagpur on Sunday after the National Testing Agency (NTA) changed his centre following a major controversy.
Abdullah alleged that although he had opted for examination centres in Nagpur, Wardha and Bhandara while filling out the application form, his admit card issued for the June 21 re-examination allotted him a centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The issue triggered widespread outrage after the family claimed the allotment was a technical error and appealed to the authorities for immediate intervention.
