Ahilyanagar/ Mumbai, July 23 -- Veteran social activist Anna Hazare has criticised the Centre over the NEET paper leak controversy, saying the government takes credit whenever things go right but shifts the blame for failures onto junior officials.
Hazare, who has extended support to students protesting against the alleged NEET paper leak, is observing a silent protest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gandhi Memorial in Wadia Park here.
In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Hazare said the violence reported during the ongoing student agitation in New Delhi was painful and unfortunate. He maintained that violence, damage to public property and unnecessary use of force had no place in a democratic system.
