Mumbai, Aug. 12 -- The medical admissions landscape has plunged into deeper controversy as meritorious students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) report being denied mandatory fee concessions by private medical colleges. In response to widespread distress, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) MP Supriya Sule has escalated the matter directly to union Health Minister J P Nadda and union Minister Pralhad Joshi, demanding immediate central intervention to protect deserving candidates from financial disenfranchisement.
