Bengaluru, July 27 -- A group of NEET aspirants has urged the Centre to overhaul the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) on the lines of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), backing computer-based testing (CBT) with safeguards while seeking sweeping reforms to improve fairness, transparency and accessibility.

The recommendations emerged during an interaction hosted by Bengaluru South BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, who assured the students that their suggestions would be compiled into a memorandum and submitted to the union Education Ministry for consideration.
