Jaipur, May 16 -- A 23-year-old NEET-UG 2026 aspirant of Jhunjhunu district has ended his life by hanging from the ceiling fan of his room in Sikar town of Rajasthan, days after the NTA cancelled the May 3 entrance exam due to question paper leak.
The boy, Pradeep Meghwal, a Dalit and a native of Guda Gaurji village of Jhunjhunu district, was staying in a rented room in Sikar along with two sisters for the past three years to prepare for the NEET exam.
This year it was his third successive attempt at the exam in which he had reportedly performed well and was aiming to secure around 650 out of 720 marks, his father told the police.
