Itanagar, June 17 -- The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), Pare Hydro Power Station, Doimukh, has issued a public advisory warning residents and stakeholders about the possible controlled release of excess water from the Pare Reservoir during the monsoon and post-monsoon season.
Deputy General Manager (Technical), Hydro Structure Maintenance and Infrastructure Division, Er Taba Gagung, informed that continuous rainfall in the catchment areas of the Pare River could cause the reservoir water level to rise up to elevation 245.15 metres (MSL).
