Hyderabad, May 27 -- Former National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Director and former Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University Vice Chancellor V. S. Prasad on Wednesday stressed the need for transparent, ethical and participatory quality assurance mechanisms to preserve integrity and credibility in higher education accreditation processes.
Delivering the inaugural address at a two-day national workshop on "Consultative Workshop for Directors of Online Education and CIQA/IQAC" organised by BRAOU in collaboration with NAAC, Bengaluru, Prof Prasad said the primary responsibility for ensuring quality in higher education lies with the institutions themselves.
