Aizawl, July 16 -- The North Eastern Council (NEC) has released more than Rs 20.17 crore during May and June this year to fund a range of infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture and connectivity projects in Mizoram, besides extending financial support to several cultural and youth development initiatives.
According to an official statement, the funds include Rs 13.68 crore released under the Schemes of NEC (SoNEC) and Rs 6.50 crore under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS-Roads).
