Agartala, July 16 -- The North Eastern Council (NEC) under Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) has allocated Rs 16.82 crore for Tripura to enhance rural infrastructure, agriculture, tribal welfare, education, healthcare, livelihoods, and cultural preservation.
According to officials, the financial assistance comprises Rs 3.95 crore under the Schemes of NEC and Rs 12.87 crore under North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme, to foster inclusive development in remote and underserved areas of Tripura.
