Patna, May 12 -- Polling for the by-election to the Bhojpur-cum-Buxar Local Authorities Constituency of the Bihar Legislative Council concluded peacefully today with an impressive voter turnout of 97.96 per cent.
Sources at the Chief Electoral Office, Bihar said here that a total of 6,086 voters, including 3,254 women, exercised their franchise at 25 polling stations across the constituency.
Chairman of the Bihar Legislative Council, Awadhesh Narayan Singh, also cast his vote at the polling booth set up at the Piro block office.
