Dharamshala, Aug. 28 -- The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) carried out large-scale rescue and evacuation operations in Kangra and Chamba districts of Himachal Pradesh for the last two days August 26-27, ensuring the safety of stranded civilians and pilgrims amid adverse weather conditions.
The operations were conducted under the supervision of Col. Baljinder Singh, Commandant, 14th NDRF.
