Kolkata, June 5 -- : More than 2000 tree saplings were planted by the National Disaster Response Force's (NDRF) second Battalion across its headquarters in Haringhata in Nadia district and regional response centres, including in Kolkata, Siliguri and Pakyong in Sikkim, on Friday.
The second Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) carried out a large-scale plantation drive across its headquarters and regional response centres on Friday as part of its World Environment Day.
The forces' officers, rescue personnel and their family members, including children, took part in the plantation drive.
