Lucknow, June 3 -- Air Customs and Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) have seized an NDPS substance suspected to be Ganja/Marijuana from a passenger's checked-in luggage, which reached Chaudhury Charan Singh International Airport on a Muscat-to-Lucknow flight.
The contraband's total weight was 13 kilograms and estimated value approximately Rs 13 crore in the international market.
Officials here said on Wednesday that based on X-ray imaging and further analysis of a checked-in baggage item from Muscat to Lucknow on June 1, Customs Officers at CCSI Airport, Lucknow, have registered a case of smuggling of NDPS substance suspected to be Ganja/Marijuana (Hydroponic Weed).
