Samastipur, Nov. 1 -- Bihar Water Resources Minister and JD(U) candidate from Sarairanjan Assembly constituency Vijay Kumar Chaudhary today expressed confidence that the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is heading towards a historic victory in the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections, asserting that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will continue to lead the state after the polls.

During his hectic election campaign in Sarairanjan, Chaudhary told UNI that in the 2020 elections, the 10 Assembly seats in Samastipur district were evenly split with the NDA and the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) each sharing five seats. This time, the situation is completely different and the NDA is leading decisively on all 10 seats, he asserted.
