NDA govt assumes office in Pondy for 2nd term in succession, AINRC Founder N Rangasamy sworn-in as CM

Puducherry, May 13 -- AINRC Founder-President N Rangasamy, heading the NDA in Puducherry, was on Wednesday sworn in as the Chief Minister for the fifth time.

Along with Mr Rangasamy, heading the NDA government for a second successive term, two other MLAs, one each from AINRC and BJP, were sworn in as Cabinet Ministers.

Puducherry Lt Governor N Kailashanathan administered the office and secrecy to Mr Rangasamy and the two Ministers at a simple swearing in ceremony held at the Raj Nivas here.

The two Ministers are BJP Legislature Party leader and former Home Minister A Namasivayam, elected from the Mannadipet constituency and AINRC MLA Malladi Krishna Rao, elected from Yanam Regionof the union Territory,BJP National President Nitin Nabin, ...
