Patna, July 26 -- Patna Sahib MP and former union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Sunday asserted that the NDA was heading for a decisive victory in the Bankipur Assembly by-election and accused Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor of making "baseless allegations" against the Election Commission and the administration out of fear of defeat.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters in Patna, Prasad said the NDA was contesting the bypoll with full strength and credibility and was receiving overwhelming public support.

He expressed confidence that BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha would register a convincing victory.
