Bengaluru, April 14 -- The Chief Minister's post in the event of a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) coming to power in Karnataka will be decided by the party's central leadership, Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka said on Tuesday, signalling that the final call would rest with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Ashoka made the remarks while interacting with reporters in Mandya district, as he claimed that the BJP and its ally Janata Dal (Secular) would jointly return to power in Karnataka after the 2028 Assembly elections.
