Mumbai, June 10 -- The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) observed its 27th Foundation Day on Wednesday in a somber atmosphere, marking the first anniversary since the passing of its prominent leader and Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar. The leader died earlier this year in a tragic plane crash near Baramati, a loss that continues to be felt across the state's political landscape.

In a heartfelt statement posted on social media, Sunetra Pawar paid tribute to the late leader and urged party workers to uphold his principles. "Ajit Dada's absence is felt at every moment. However, we must resolve to carry forward his legacy of humanity, his politics of development, and his unwavering commitment to the party cadre," she stated.
