Mumbai, Jan. 7 -- The Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) on Wednesday released its manifesto for the upcoming Bombay Municipal Corp[oration Elections wooing voters with a promise of waiving property tax for houses admeasuring up to 700 sq ft and a comprehensive vision to transform Mumbai into a "world-class, inclusive, and glorious city".
The NCP manifesto includes a 'Safe Mumbai' agenda for women, featuring increased police patrolling, dedicated helplines, and construction of working women's hostels while party has also committed to prioritising social justice, development, and transparency while preserving the progressive legacy of reformers Shahu-Phule-Ambedkar.
