New Delhi, March 10 -- The Director and Members of the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) have issued an unconditional and unqualified public apology on Tuesday over the 'chapter- IV' of its recently published Social Science textbook "Exploring Society: India and Beyond" for 8th standard.
The chapter of the said book in question here is titled,'The Role of Judiciary in Our Society,' while the council has also stated that the book entire book that had been published, now stands withdrawn, and is not available.
