New Delhi, June 15 -- The National Cadet Corps (NCC) has established two new independent State Directorates in Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand, a move aimed at strengthening the organisation's administrative framework and expanding opportunities for youth participation in the country's premier uniformed youth movement.

The approval, granted by the Headquarters Directorate General NCC, raises the total number of NCC State Directorates from 17 to 19, marking a significant organisational expansion designed to bring the institution closer to cadets and educational institutions across the two states.
