Mumbai, Nov. 19 -- In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Mumbai Zonal Unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has destroyed approximately 25 kg of narcotics, including cocaine and ganja, seized from a Navi Mumbai-based syndicate linked to international kingpin Navin Chichkar.
The operation has led to the arrest of nine individuals, including Chichkar, key associates, and a hawala operator.
