Agartala, May 18 -- The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Myanmar-based drug kingpin Thancintuang in Delhi. Officials said the arrest dealt a significant blow to an extensive international drug syndicate operating across India's northeast and neighbouring countries.

According to intelligence officials, Chintuang is a major player in the transnational drug trafficking network, particularly in the Myanmar-Mizoram-Manipur-Assam-Tripura corridor, where he is known for supplying Methamphetamine and Heroin internationally.
