New Delhi, June 10 -- Former India assistant coach Abhishek Nayar believes Afghanistan will pose a much tougher challenge than many expect in the upcoming three-match ODI series and has urged Shubman Gill-led India not to underestimate the visitors.
India begin the series against Afghanistan in Dharamshala on June 13, with the remaining matches scheduled in Lucknow and Chennai. While India will start as favourites, Nayar pointed out that Afghanistan's growing experience in franchise cricket around the world has helped them evolve into a dangerous white-ball side.
