Panchukla, June 26 -- In a significant policy decision aimed at benefiting sportspersons, the Haryana Government has officially recognised the Haryana Olympic Games under its Sports Gradation Policy, enabling athletes participating in the event to become eligible for sports gradation certificates that play a crucial role in government employment and other sports-related benefits.

The decision has been notified through a gazette notification issued by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs.

Under the amended provisions, performances in the Haryana Olympic Games will now be treated as valid for sports gradation.

The revised policy will come into effect retrospectively from November 1, 2025.
