Gadchiroli, July 12 -- : Banners and pamphlets allegedly put up by Naxalites opposing mining projects were found near Kundam village in Etapalli tehsil of Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district on Sunday, officials said.

The material was recovered from two locations under the jurisdiction of Pipli Burgi police outpost.

The pamphlets reportedly opposed mining activities and demanded suspension of work by four companies, including JSW, Om Sai, Natural and Sunflower.

The alleged Naxal literature also objected to drone surveys being carried out in the Hetalkasa-Kudri-Moharli area and warned villagers and representatives against supporting mining companies.
