Ranchi, Dec. 27 -- : Chowka police station of Seraikela-Kharsawan district in Jharkhand has secured the fourth position at the national level in the Ranking of Police Stations 2025 released by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The annual ranking is based on a nationwide assessment of police stations and is released during the Directors General of Police and Inspectors General of Police Conference. For the 2025 exercise, more than 18,000 police stations across the country were evaluated through an independent survey process.

The assessment covered a wide range of parameters, including analysis of the CCTNS database, crime statistics, crimes against women and vulnerable sections, disposal of cases and charge-sheeting efficiency. Infrastructure,...
