Dharamshala, May 9 -- A total of 5,429 cases were settled during the National Lok Adalat held across all courts in Kangra district on Saturday, with settlement awards exceeding Rs 5 crore.
The National Lok Adalat was organised under the guidance of Executive Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Shimla, Justice Vivek Singh Thakur, and District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman of District Legal Services Authority Kangra, Justice Chirag Bhanu Singh.
